also often prescribed to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). A resent report states that since Viagra was excluded from Medicare drug coverage, taxpayers have been
paying five times as much for a similar drug, Revatio, to treat PAH. The recommended dosage of Revatio for patients with PAH costs $6,750 per month while the same regimen
of Viagra is $1,350 a year.
